Powerbar, an athlete favorite since 1996, is back at The Feed! We know how important recovery is for performance and injury prevention, which is why we want to introduce you to Powerbar Recovery Max - the carbohydrate-protein drink for the highest demands.

The two most important macronutrients for recovery are carbohydrates and protein. With 10 grams of premium whey protein and 30 grams of high glycemic carbs, this drink mix contains an optimal 3:1 ratio of fast absorbing carbs to protein to promote faster recovery. Recovery Max also contains magnesium, to help promote normal muscle function, and zinc, to boost the immune system (which becomes suppressed during intense training). 

Free from artificial flavors, preservatives, sweeteners, and stabilizers, this drink mix is a great way to replenish energy stores and rebuild damaged muscles after a hard training session. 


How We Use It:
Depending on how hard your training day was, drink 1-2 servings within an hour of your workout. Use 2 servings on your extra hard days that leave you feeling depleted. 
-For 1 serving: mix 3 dosing spoons with 125 mL of water
-For 2 servings: mix 6 dosing spoons with 250 mL of water
